2d Annual HONOR THE LAND Statewide Rally

Free & open to the public!

What: Speakers, Music, Food & Networking, Family Friendly

Organized by Concerned Citizens of Franklin County, Save Massachusetts Forests, Save the Pine Barrens, Community Land and Water Coalitions and others

When: Saturday, August 13th 2 to 6 p.m.


Western Massachusetts: Turners Falls- Peskeonskut Park

Eastern Massachusetts: Plymouth – location to be announced

Why: Raise awareness and take action to protect our forests, waters & Indigenous cultural sites from harmful clear-cutting and ecosystem destruction from large ground-mounted solar and sand mining

Speakers: Karl Meyer, Environmental Journalist, Fred Beddall, Full-Time Farmer 

Activities: 50/50 raffle, Door Prizes, Donations encouraged to support efforts to protect forests and farmland
