Presenter Bio:
NATHANIEL STEVENS is a Partner at McGregor Legere & Stevens PC in Boston. He has handled a broad range of environmental and land use matters for a diverse set of clients in multiple forums, including before conservation commissions and at MassDEP.
Mr. Stevens has written for legal and environmental publications, including the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commission’ Quarterly Newsletter, on subjects such as DEP regulatory reforms, Home Rule and preemption, and wetlands protection law at the local and state level.
Mr. Stevens currently serves on his Town’s Conservation Commission and, until recently, served as Chair.
Prior to law school, Mr. Stevens was awarded a year-long Federal Fellowship to study marine policy in Washington, D.C. During and after this national fellowship, he worked on wetlands policy issues in the Wetlands Division of the EPA.
Mr. Stevens is a graduate of Vassar College and Suffolk University Law School (cum laude), with a Master’s of Science in Natural Resource Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources.
